WEEE Recycling Services
In January 2003 the EU published the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Directive.
The aim of the new legislation is to reduce the amount of electrical waste going to landfill, and to encourage recycling and reuse. In December 2006 UK WEEE Legislation was approved by Parliament and it came into full force in July 2007.
Please note that we DO NOT handle disposal of televisions and computer monitors.
There are 10 WEEE Categories as follows: -

Each of these is further broken down within the WEEE Directive to qualify the type of equipment included and excluded from the WEEE Directive . Only equipment with a voltage rating not exceeding 1000v AC and 1500v DC comes within the scope of the WEEE Directive.
